Job Description

We are now looking for a senior chemical industry professional to lead growth of our chemicals-focused executive search business in the USA. As existing clients are mainly based in the North East or Texas, a base in one of these areas would be ideal but is not essential. Chicago or the Mid-West would also be of interest.

The role's main responsibility will be to convert incoming leads and enquiries across the US into successful search assignments, as well as to source new business opportunities for us via your extensive network and experience across the industry at senior levels of influence. The role is mainly to act as an ambassador for our company and you may get involved in some aspects of project execution as time and interests allow, but the primary aim is to deliver the business.

Job Requirements

  • Extensive senior level contacts and credibility in the US chemicals sector
  • A natural talent for sales, business development and project delivery
  • Consulting, executive search or coaching or HR experience is helpful
  • Effective working with colleagues at arm's length and internationally
  • You should be able to work on a highly leveraged income structure
  • You should be comfortable and effective working from a home base

The role will likely best suit an executive contemplating early retirement from the business or a chemical sector consultant or executive coach looking at additional revenue streams.

Initial discussions will be held by Skype in early March and final interviews at the Hilton Americas in Houston on Friday 23rd March 2018.
