Our client is seeking Maintenance and Reliablity Leader within their Flouroproducts division based at their Washington Works near Parkersburg, WV. Here there are over 800 people with 150 involved in Maintenance and Reliability.
This is a senior position with high visiblity and the opportunity to develop and implement the reliability strategy for the significant assets of the manufacturing unit.
The role reports to the Washington Works Manager, but also has a functional reporting line to the Global Maintenance Leader based in Wilmington DE.
Develop a site-level reliability strategy and associated resource plan that improves production capabilities and ensures efficient and cost-effective maintenance activities.
Be an agent for change introducing new systems and processes where required, and to improve the general effectiveness and response time of the team
Provide leadership for the development of asset management plans, preventive/predictive maintenance programs, and long-term maintenance outages.
Partner with the Engineering leadership to ensure that design for reliability is effectively integrated into the change management processes.
Ensure that work management processes for reliability and maintenance are being effectively utilized and improved.
Ensure that the CMMS is effectively integrated into Management of Change Processes, utilized, and improved in support of the work management processes.
Utilise influence management with production, technology, and capital organizations to ensure reliability and maintenance organizations’ success.
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related field.
Experience of direct reliability and maintenance management in a PSM regulated Manufacturing or Chemical Plant environment.
Significant experience in facility operations in the chemicals or down-stream hydrocarbon processing industry
Experience of Preventative and Predictive Maintenance, TPM, RCM, SAP, and CMMS.
Knowledge of employing a Computerized Maintenance Management System such as SAP-PM or equivalent
Familiarity with standard operating and maintenance practices for major assets and manufacturing equipment
Experience in M&R best practices, root cause analysis, criticality analysis and lifecycle management
Knowledge and experience of large scale improvement programs within a maintenance organization
Proven track record of leading change within a large manufacturing facility and of project leadership and management
Successful strategy implementation experience
Strong IT skills coupled with strong influencing skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
